This Returns, Refunds & Withdrawal Policy explains what happens if you change your mind about an online purchase, receive the wrong or a damaged product, or receive goods that are faulty or do not conform to your order.
This Policy applies in accordance with applicable Greek and European consumer protection law.
If you are a consumer making a distance purchase through the aristidou.gr online store, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days.
For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods.
Where an order contains several goods delivered separately, the relevant period is calculated in accordance with applicable law.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us before the 14-day period expires through an unequivocal statement confirming that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

Following your notice of withdrawal, the goods must be returned or handed back without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law.

You may examine the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way that you could reasonably examine them in a physical store.
Where possible, we recommend returning the product together with:
Missing or damaged original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory right of withdrawal.
However, you may be responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Where you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal simply because you have changed your mind, the direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer unless Aristidou has agreed otherwise.
Return costs may depend on the weight, dimensions, origin of the shipment and selected carrier.
For bulky goods such as large canvases, stretcher frames, oversized paper or other high-volume products, we recommend contacting us before arranging the return.
Following a valid withdrawal, Aristidou will refund the payments required under applicable law.
Where legally required, this includes the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method originally offered for the order.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express delivery, the additional cost above the standard delivery method does not have to be refunded.
Refunds are made without undue delay and within the statutory period.
Aristidou may withhold reimbursement until:

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
The right of withdrawal does not apply where an exemption is provided by applicable law.

Simply opening the packaging of an ordinary product does not, by itself, necessarily mean that the statutory right of withdrawal no longer applies.

Repair or replacement is provided without charge to the consumer where the statutory conditions are satisfied.

A direct exchange will depend on product availability and the applicable store policy.
Where practical, the original item may be returned and a new order placed for the preferred product.
Any commercial exchange facility does not restrict the statutory withdrawal rights applicable to online purchases.
The statutory 14-day withdrawal right described above generally applies to distance contracts, including online purchases.
Where a non-faulty product was purchased directly from our physical store, an exchange simply because the customer has changed their mind is subject to the applicable commercial policy of the store.
Statutory rights concerning faulty or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
Before confirming an order for:

Where goods have been produced according to your individual choices or specifications, the statutory right of withdrawal because of a simple change of mind may not apply.
