Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 18 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Aristidou online store available at www.aristidou.gr and purchases of products or services made through the website.
Please read these Terms carefully before using the online store or placing an order. By submitting an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope and Acceptance of Terms
Aristidou offers through its online store, among other products, art supplies, drawing materials, school and office supplies, stationery, craft and DIY materials, model-making supplies, artistic products and other related products or services.
Users must have the legal capacity required to enter into transactions. Where the website is used or purchases are made by a minor, parental or legal guardian consent and supervision may be required under applicable law.
3. Product Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs, dimensions, colours, prices and availability information are accurate and up to date.
Minor differences in appearance or colour may occur due to screen settings, photography, packaging or changes introduced by the manufacturer.
Obvious typographical or technical errors do not bind the business where the customer is informed promptly and before final fulfilment of the order.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been submitted, the customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible. Where payment has already been made, the relevant amount will be refunded in accordance with the payment method and applicable law.
4. Orders and Formation of the Contract
Customers must provide accurate, complete and truthful information when placing an order.
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. An automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that availability of every item has already been confirmed.
The sales contract is concluded when the order is accepted and proceeds to fulfilment or dispatch.
Aristidou may refuse or cancel an order in cases including actual lack of availability, an obvious pricing or product information error, inability to verify the customer's details or reasonable suspicion of fraudulent or abusive activity.
Where payment has already been collected for an order that cannot be fulfilled, the relevant amount will be refunded without undue delay.
5. Prices and Taxes
Prices are displayed in euros (€) and include applicable VAT where required.
Shipping costs, cash-on-delivery charges or other lawful additional charges, where applicable, are displayed before the customer submits the final order.
Aristidou may change product prices at any time. Such changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted.
In the event of an obvious pricing error, the customer will be informed before fulfilment and may choose either to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.
6. Payment Methods
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may vary depending on the delivery method, destination or order value.
Any additional charge associated with a particular payment method will be disclosed before the purchase is completed.
Electronic payments may be processed by independent certified payment service providers in accordance with their own terms and applicable security requirements.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Available shipping methods, applicable charges and, where provided, estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout.
Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has expressly been agreed.
Aristidou remains responsible for the goods until they are delivered to the customer or to a third party designated by the customer, in accordance with applicable law.
Where delivery is delayed due to circumstances outside the reasonable control of the business, reasonable efforts will be made to keep the customer informed. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights relating to non-delivery.
For deliveries outside Greece, different shipping charges may apply and, depending on the destination, customs duties or import taxes may be payable unless otherwise stated during checkout.
8. Store Pickup
Where store pickup is available, customers will be notified when their order is ready for collection.
Online availability does not necessarily mean that an order is immediately ready for collection before such confirmation has been provided.
9. Right of Withdrawal
A consumer purchasing at a distance generally has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, takes physical possession of the goods.
Where goods from the same order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period is calculated from delivery of the final item where required by applicable law.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify Aristidou before the withdrawal period expires by means of an unequivocal statement, for example by email to aristidouprint@gmail.com.
Following notification of withdrawal, the consumer must return the goods without undue delay and within the period prescribed by law.
10. Return Costs and Conditions Following Withdrawal
For a standard withdrawal, the direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer unless Aristidou has agreed otherwise.
Consumers may examine the goods only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way they could reasonably do in a physical store.
The consumer may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose.
Missing or damaged original packaging will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable law and does not automatically remove mandatory statutory rights.
11. Refunds Following Withdrawal
Following a valid withdrawal, Aristidou will reimburse the payments required by applicable law, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order.
Any additional delivery cost resulting from the consumer choosing a more expensive method, such as express delivery, does not have to be reimbursed.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and within the statutory period of 14 days from receipt of the consumer's notice of withdrawal.
Aristidou may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received back or until the consumer provides evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
12. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply where an exception is provided by applicable law.
This may include:
- goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised
- custom printing, personalised applications, screen-printing or other work produced specifically for an individual customer
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed
- services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period where the applicable requirements for the consumer's prior express consent have been satisfied
Where a service or customised work begins at the consumer's express request before the withdrawal period expires, the specific provisions of applicable consumer law will apply.
13. Incorrect Faulty or Non-Conforming Goods
The right of withdrawal is separate from the consumer's statutory rights where goods are defective, incorrectly supplied or do not conform to the contract or their description.
Customers should contact Aristidou and provide their order details and, where useful, photographs of the item or packaging.
The consumer's statutory rights concerning bringing goods into conformity, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract apply in accordance with applicable Greek and European consumer law.
Any commercial manufacturer's warranty is additional to and does not restrict the consumer's statutory rights against the seller.
14. Customer Accounts and Acceptable Use
Users must use the website lawfully and must not take actions that may compromise its security, operation or availability.
The website may not be used for fraudulent transactions, infringement of third-party rights, distribution of malicious software or unauthorised access to systems or data.
Where a customer account is created, the customer is responsible for keeping login credentials secure.
15. Intellectual Property
Content available on www.aristidou.gr, including texts, photographs, graphics, designs, logos, site structure and other original material, is protected under applicable intellectual and industrial property law and belongs to Aristidou or the relevant lawful rights holders.
Protected content may not be reproduced, commercially exploited, modified or republished without the rights holder's prior permission unless otherwise permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and trade names appearing on the website remain the property of their respective owners.
16. Website Operation and Limitation of Liability
Aristidou makes reasonable efforts to maintain the secure and continuous operation of the website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or the complete absence of temporary technical issues.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the business will not be responsible for loss arising solely from events outside its reasonable control or from unlawful or abusive use of the website by a user.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.
17. Personal Data and Cookies
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law and the Aristidou Privacy Policy.
The use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by the relevant information and consent choices provided to users through the website.
18. Changes to These Terms
Aristidou may amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary due to changes in legislation, services, store operations or other reasonable circumstances.
The current version will be published on this page together with its latest revision date.
Later amendments will not retrospectively alter the terms governing an order already concluded unless required by law.
19. Suspension or Termination of Access
Aristidou may restrict or suspend access to the website or a customer account in the event of serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, fraud, attempted security breaches or other unlawful conduct.
Any such action does not affect statutory rights already acquired by consumers under validly concluded contracts.
20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Greek law and applicable European Union legislation.
For consumers residing in another country, the choice of Greek law does not deprive them of any mandatory consumer protection to which they are entitled under applicable conflict-of-law rules.
In the event of a dispute, customers are encouraged to contact Aristidou first so that an amicable solution can be sought.
Consumers may also, where the relevant requirements are met, refer eligible disputes to an appropriate alternative dispute resolution body, including the Greek Consumer Ombudsman, or to the European Consumer Centre for eligible cross-border consumer disputes.
Any court proceedings will be brought before the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law.
For business-to-business transactions, where such an agreement is legally permitted, the courts of Patras, Greece shall have jurisdiction.
